These Valentine Veggie Toasts are a hearty way to get 22 grams of whole grains per serving.



  • 3 slices Wholesome Harvest® Golden Wheat Bread, toasted
  • 1 red bell pepper, quartered
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 6 tbsp. hummus
  • 1 avocado, sliced


Special Tools:

  • 1 large heart-shaped cookie cutter
  • 1 small heart-shaped cookie cutter


  1. Use the large heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut hearts out of the red bell pepper quarters. Use the small heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut small hearts out of the cucumber slices.
  2. Spread 2 tablespoons of hummus on each slice of toast. Top with avocado, red bell pepper and cucumber hearts, and enjoy!
