Elevate your grilled cheese with this fresh and fruity summertime spin.
- 2 slices Wholesome Harvest® Wholesome Oatmeal Bread
- ½ tbsp. butter
- 2 slices White Cheddar cheese
- 3-4 strawberries, sliced
- 1 basil leaf, minced
- Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice of bread in skillet, butter side down. Layer on the first slice of cheese, followed by strawberries, basil and the second slice of cheese. Top with second slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook, flipping intermittently, until cheese is melty and bread is golden brown on both sides (approximately 3-5 minutes on each side).
