Spiced Chickpea Toast is a protein-packed snack that will spice up your morning routine!
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, rinsed and dried
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin powder
- 1 tsp ground coriander powder
- 1 tsp ground turmeric powder
- 1 small piece of ginger
- 1/2 tsp cilantro, for garnish
- 4 slices Wholesome Harvest Stone Ground Whole Wheat Bread
- Mix all of the above ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for one minute,
- Remove bowl from microwave and mash all ingredients together.
- Season with salt and pepper if desired.
- Top chickpea mixture on 4 slices of toasted bread. Garnish with cilantro leave
