The dried fruit and seeds in this batard make for unforgettably delish French toast.
- 1 Wholesome Harvest® Fruit & Seed Batard, sliced
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 pears, thinly sliced
- Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla. Set aside.
- Arrange bread slices in a large casserole dish. Place ½ of the pear slices on top of the bread and pour the egg mixture on top. Top with remaining pear slices, cover with foil and let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Place dish in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook for an additional 15 minutes. Enjoy!
