Peary Whole Grain French Toast Bake

The dried fruit and seeds in this batard make for unforgettably delish French toast.



  • 1 Wholesome Harvest® Fruit & Seed Batard, sliced
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 pears, thinly sliced


  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla. Set aside.
  2. Arrange bread slices in a large casserole dish. Place ½ of the pear slices on top of the bread and pour the egg mixture on top. Top with remaining pear slices, cover with foil and let it sit for 30 minutes. 
  3. Place dish in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook for an additional 15 minutes. Enjoy!
